Sumitomo Forestry Home Tech Co., Ltd.
Graduation in March 2025
Mr. N from Faculty of International Studies
With the support of Career Center, I was able to get a job offer from the company I wanted to work for.
Originally, I lived in a "Sumitomo Forestry House" and liked its atmosphere and interior. Gradually, I began to want to convey the goodness of "Sumitomo Forestry House" to both people who knew about it and people who didn't through renovations. Also, because a home is an absolute necessity for people, I wanted to help customers who wanted to renovate, so I decided to get a job. When I started my job search, I didn't know where to start, and that was my biggest worry, so I consulted the teachers at Career Center many times. The teachers listened sincerely to my concerns and helped me find a solution, which helped me to ease my anxiety. Also, when I told them about even the slightest doubt, they immediately looked into it and answered, and I was impressed by how they properly explained the path of my job search along with a plan. I was also nervous about interviews, so I was able to overcome them thanks to the teachers' support in practicing many times. What I valued in my job search was "to convey who I am to the company to the best of my ability." And I worked hard on my job search, keeping in mind "I do everything with all my might!" When I received the job offer, I felt that if you put in all your effort, your enthusiasm will come across, and I think it was all thanks to the people at Career Center. I think people who are about to start job hunting will be anxious, but I want you to not get caught up in form, believe in yourself, and work hard with all your might, just as you want. If you do that, I'm sure you'll find a company that recognizes you. Be true to yourself, keep smiling, and do your best!

Koei Tecmo Holdings Co., Ltd.
Graduation in March 2025
Mr. F from Faculty of Engineering
I clarified my strengths and goals and worked hard on my job search.
I loved games from an early age, and I wanted to work in the gaming industry. I was deeply impressed by Koei Tecmo's unique worldview and creativity, and I wanted to contribute to game production as a member of the team, so I chose Koei Tecmo as my place of employment. I also placed importance on an environment where I could grow by utilizing the specialized knowledge and skills I learned at university, and I felt that this company would help me achieve that. During my job search, I learned how to write an application form in a class called Career Planning, and I was able to write it with confidence. I was also able to learn about the process of job hunting and corporate research in detail from the people at Career Center, which helped me clarify my strengths and goals and work hard on my job search. I sincerely hope that the efforts of all of you who are looking for jobs will bear fruit and that a wonderful future awaits you.

Osaka Metro Co., Ltd.
Graduation in March 2025
Mr. H from Faculty of Engineering
Job hunting will be more efficient if you consult with someone rather than worrying about it alone.
I learned the joy of customer service through a part-time job I started after entering the university, and I wanted to work in a job that involves interacting with people in the future. Among them, Osaka Metro was the one I chose because it covers Osaka City, hosts the World Expo, and has an extension project that I thought would be useful to many people. Railway companies have their own unique tests such as the Kraepelin test and the NR-type intelligence test in their employment exams, and there were some that I couldn't find out what they were about even after looking into them. When I consulted with Career Center, they gave me a practice sheet for the Kraepelin test, which helped me prepare. They also corrected my application form, so I was able to pass the document screening at all the companies I applied to! Job hunting is always accompanied by worries, but I think it's more efficient to not worry alone, but to ask for help from Career Center and seniors and take measures. Please do your best.

The 114th Bank Ltd.
Graduation in March 2025
Mr. Y Faculty of Business Management
During the internship, I was able to best imagine myself working, so I decided to take the job.
I chose to work at a bank because it was a place I felt close to since I was a child, and because I had a one-on-one meeting with a human resources person who kindly answered my concerns when I attended an information session. Seeing that made me want to become a person like that. Also, when I participated in an internship, I could most easily imagine myself working at a bank, so I wanted to work at this bank and chose it as my place of employment. However, my biggest worry was whether I could really become a member of society as I was, so I took advantage of Career Center 's individual interview system. By confiding my worries, I was given advice such as "There are other ways of thinking," and I was able to gain confidence. I felt that first impressions were important in job hunting, so I made sure to dress well and smile. Job hunting is completely different from previous exams, so I'm sure you will have many concerns, but please take advantage of the various systems at our university and approach it in your own way.

MST Corporation
Graduation in March 2025
Q, Faculty of Business Management
Don't worry alone, make use of Career Center!
Ever since I was in junior high school, I wanted to get a job where I could interact with people from all over the world. After graduating from Japanese language school, I chose to study logistics at the Department of Commerce Department of Commercial Sciences Faculty of Business Management Osaka Sangyo University, in order to get the job I wanted in the future. Academically, it was a perfect fit for the job I wanted, so all I had to do was find a company that suited me. As an international student, I thought it would be a good idea to properly understand and prepare for job hunting in Japan early on. So, during the summer vacation of my second year, I participated in a job hunting event hosted by my university, where I met people from Career Center for the first time and learned about the job hunting process. I also heard about various companies.
I was interested in the logistics industry, but the more information sessions and internships I attended, the more interested I became in manufacturers. Career Center told me, "Since you're studying logistics at university, the logistics industry will be an easy place to pitch yourself, but if you want to work for a manufacturer, we'll support you until the end," and introduced me to some reliable manufacturers, which I was very impressed with. MST Corporation, the company that offered me a job, was one of them. By utilizing Career Center, you can ask them anything you're worried about and get a variety of expert advice, which is very helpful. I recommend that both Japanese people and international students make use of it!
