Boarding house
Boarding house introduction
We outsource the introduction of lodgings to a contractor. The Student Affairs Office also has a "Lodging Introduction Booklet," so please come and pick one up if you would like one. Please make sure to thoroughly consider the financial aspects and inspect the property before signing a rental contract.
Rental agreement
Housing contracts are contracts under civil law that are decided through negotiation between the tenant (student) and the lessor (landlord). The university cannot be involved in these contracts, so please make sure to read the contract carefully. Be careful, as an ambiguous contract can cause trouble later on.
Resident registration
When deciding or changing your address, you must inform your family and register as a resident at the local municipal office (bring your moving-out certificate and personal seal). You must also submit a change of address form to Academic Affairs Division.
Fire prevention (fire insurance)
Fires are very scary. They can have a huge impact on others, and you may be liable for compensation. Please be careful of fires, such as heating appliances and putting out cigarettes after use, as they can cause fires. We also recommend that you take out fire insurance according to the items you own, as a form of self-defense in case you become a victim of a fire.
part-time job
Part-time job introduction
Part-time work is a way to learn about society and partially satisfy financial needs. Assuming you are doing it in your spare time from your studies, avoid unnecessary part-time work whenever possible and strive to find meaningful work within your life plan. Recently, part-time job advertisements have been advertised through various means, including job magazines, direct mail, and street posters. However, some of these jobs offer high wages in exchange for dangerous work, work that is unsuitable for students, or unfavorable working conditions, resulting in non-payment of wages. In particular, there have been many problems with registered tutoring jobs. Do not easily respond to solicitations from companies operating on the street. There have also been many cases of scams disguised as part-time job advertisements (such as getting people to pay registration fees but not actually working), so please use university referrals whenever possible. If you experience an accident while working or experience unfavorable working conditions, such as different wages, working hours, or job type, please immediately contact the Student Affairs Office.
